With Love- From the Hundred Acre Wood

When Ryan was younger, he loved Winnie the Pooh and I would always buy him stickers, colouring books and what-nots. Secretly, I also found the adorable characters- well just that- adorable! I especially loved Piglet (you'll soon find I have an odd love for cuddly pigs!) and I found a stash of Pooh stickers in my drawer that I had probably bought for Ryan and ended up keeping for myself! This Piglet sticker gave me an idea for a card that I managed to create in 15mins flat. It's simple but so stinkin' cute even if I do say so myself. ;-)

So with Love, from the Hundred Acre Wood.

A little later I found that there were just too many cute stickers so I thought- maybe a Pooh collection of cards? I love this one too. It says so little and yet, so much...

I initially wanted to make a set of Pooh cards for sale but some reading up soon told me that there'll be copyright issues with using the Pooh characters for sale items so unfortunately I may have to scrap the selling idea. But I could still make the set for fun! :-)

A spot of Java to get well soon...

Feeling a little Green

A get well soon card made when I was feeling sickly myself.

Lets get coffee

Coffee has become singularly the symbol of friends, love, sharing, leisure and luxury. The best companion to a lovely book and a lovely person.

Regally Speaking

If you've come from the link of my main blog (une belle vie) you probably already know about my first commission. But if you haven't- here's the recap;

I was asked to make a card for a birthday. Any kind, any price. It's the kind of commission that almost never comes your way. I had mad fun with it. Using my new Big Shot teamed with a Sizzix Damask embossing folder and scalloped Nestabilities Die Cut, I made this card. It's absolutely me- everything about it from the colour scheme to the ribbon and designs. I love it and hope to do a few more with the same theme in mind.

The End of May

The Pop-Up
Pop-ups can be crazily simple once you know how. I am not sure who this card is going to end up for- I reckon it can be for the amourous loved up couple or even for friends and family. Right now its a showpiece- my first pop-up card!

The Early Bird...

Gets the shoe? Well, who's to say what some birds prefer? :-) This was made for a friend who has something worth congratulating and I do hope she likes it.
