DT post for the Week: Colour Blocking on cards!

My DT post for the week on Papier!

Colour blocking - extremely simple and effective cardmaking.
......
If cardmaking magazines are anything to go by; colour blocking seems to be what's 'in'. It's interesting to see what different looks you can achieve with this simple technique. Just a bunch of squares cut with square nestabilities dies and assembled in different colour coding onto your card base.

One card features bright, modern, solid patterns whilst the other sports a vintage, shabby chic look. The vintage images inside the boxes are from a gorgeous set of square images on a Prima 12x12 cardstock from the 'Divine' collection.

Both are extremely simple to make and take less than a half hour to conceptualise.
