After Papier resident artist Amelia gave a live demo on how to do this, I decided to give it a shot. I used an 8x8 canvas as opposed to 12x12 just so I didn't intimidate myself.
Only 2 cans of real spray mist. The third I made using Martha Stewart paints; cheap eyeshadow and a spray bottle from daiso. It turned out remarkably well.
The findings are a mash of whatever was available in my drawer. It was hard finding enough; I kid you not. I suggest if you'd like to try this - do raid your local hardware store first.
